OBDCOM is a

OBDCOM reads all powertrain trouble codes, including manufacturer-specific ones. Error codes are translated into an english description so you don't

this data to see if a performance modification you have made is
having any effect. For example, after installing a cold air
intake system, you can monitor the intake air temperature. After
switching to a free-flowing air filter, you can check to see if your
maximum airflow has in fact increased. You can do this by
setting-up digital or analog gauges or graphs on the computer screen
and viewing the effect of your mods while the vehicle is driven.
